The restoration involved the faithful reconstruction of the existing stucco.
Following the fire that destroyed the Teatro la Fenice in Venice in 1996, Plasterego was involved in the restoration and reconstruction of the Sale Apollinee.
The approach used was an accurate reconstruction of the decorative elements, using traditional materials and techniques. The plaster decorations have been faithfully reproduced through a first phase of the relief of residual parts and partially intact elements.
The second phase required the intervention of the expert hands of master craftsmen who have reproduced the elements in their entirety to be able to allow their reproduction.
The skilful work of craftsmen who were present in the works of restauto allowed the Teatro la Fenice from standing again in 2003 in its former glory, faithfully preserving its image.
