We have been contacted by the customer to restore the plaster decorations present in a historic building in Venice. The original stuccos and frames were damaged and showed signs of aging. In some places the decorations were completely missing and therefore had to be reproduced the same as the originals.

With a first on-site inspection, we took over the shapes of all the frames and decorations to be reproduced. The original shapes were drawn to create the patterns with the guiding silhouettes. Thanks to these drawings, it was possible at a later time to recreate the frames as accurately as possible in our artistic laboratory.

In addition, the customer also wanted to install some “ex-novo” mouldings to complete the ceilings. The choice fell on the frame cod. 022774 of our catalog, whose decoration incorporates motifs also present in other rooms of the building.
